Isaiah is my nephew (wow, I feel old!) and is graduating from Borger High School this year. I was excited to shoot his photos and was thankful that he was up for pretty much any weird idea I had. He's like that- easygoing, accommodating and thoughtful. I know God's got some big plans for Isaiah.
Like many seniors in high school, he's got several options for the next season of his life. I'm praying that whatever he's doing, he's doing it in an effort to seek God and His Glory- I know that's Isaiah's heart. Thinking about his personality, I've decided to pray this scripture over Isaiah's life- it's from one of my favorite books of the Bible- Isaiah!
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed.”
