I got to photograph my newest niece's newborn portraits yesterday. She is just the sweetest, sleepy, squishy little girl and did such a great job for us. When your auntie is a photographer, you get the special "privilege" of an extra-long photo session while I try out new ideas :).

Sweet Hayden was 9 lbs. when she was born and came with all the rolls I had prayed for! We are thankful she is healthy and is doing great. It has been really neat to see my sister and brother-in-law transition to parents- we already knew they would be great, and of course, they are. Here is our Hayden!

I got to meet sweet little Max last week- and he was so perfect (and sleepy!) the entire time. I loved seeing his with big brother Ro, who asked if Max could sleep in his room the very night he came home from the hospital! Thank you for letting me capture this time for your family, you guys, and congratulations!

I got to photograph sweet Elizabeth a couple of weeks ago and I could not stop gushing at how precious she was, how much her big brother loved her, and all the beautiful details in her room. Just wait until you see!

I also loved that she already has her own copy of Pride & Prejudice and will know the story of another special Lizzy who had a playful heart, a sharp mind, and a great love story. :)

TWINS! Oh my goodness gracious...when we found out our friends were having TWO, we rejoiced! And then when we found out Lindsey was carrying two precious little GIRLS, there was even more celebration. These two already have a legacy of joy.

It has been incredible to watch Miss Grey and Miss Breckyn's story- they've been hoped and prayed for before they ever existed here on earth. They made their appearance a few weeks early, which meant a good stint in the NICU. Let me tell you what- these baby girls are tough! They fought every battle as they were prayed over by their parents, family and friends. Seeing my friends, Kuhrt and Lindsey, parent them even as they were isolated in the NICU was amazing- I know the girls felt the joy and peace that God gave them during that time.

We are so glad they are finally home and I can't tell you how excited I was to photograph these precious faces. Lindsey knew while she was pregnant that she had two girls with different personalities- and she was right! The amazing thing is, it's clear that they love each other- I was amazed at how relaxed they would become when we'd lay them together.

Sweet girls, I can't wait to watch you grow. We are so thankful for you and your parents! Your existence is just another reminder that God loves us.
