Oh my goodness, I was so excited to see Jeff + Becca last week! I got to photograph their amazing wedding a couple of years ago, and had the pleasure of shooting with them again while they were in Lubbock last week. This was such a fun photoshoot- these guys just wanted some new, relaxed photos- I think it's a great way to celebrate 2 years of marriage! I love these two for so many reasons- they both have devoted their time and energy to helping kids- Jeff is a coach and Becca is a teacher. And you can just tell they are so. good. at it. Not only that, but Becca is a photographer herself, and has been putting out some pretty amazing work lately. To top it off, they are just cool. They forgot to pack outfits for the shoot (sounds like me!), so Becca shopped at our store the day before and found everything she needed (cough, shameless plug, cough). Here are a few of my faves from our 9 am session.

4 CommentsI have been on "official" maternity leave for a few weeks now, but came out of my cave yesterday to shoot a very time-sensitive session! You may remember Victoria from her wedding a couple of summers ago- she and John now live in California and she is expecting a baby boy in March! She contacted me knowing she'd be in the area during Christmas and I'm so glad I got to capture her new curve! We had insanely gorgeous light- I will be shooting a lot more baby bumps if they are all as much fun as this. Thank you so much, Victoria- you are gorgeous!

4 CommentsWARNING- I am about to over-post! I loved too many images from this session- and as a result, I'm sharing them all with you. :) Chinye is just about to graduate from Tech and head out to Pharmacy school, so it was time to get some portraits done. We had some gorgeous sunlight that day- and took full advantage of it! Thank you, Chinye, for being up for it with me!
K'lyssa • graduate • Texas Tech University
2 CommentsK'lyssa contacted me a while back about doing some portraits for her in celebration of her graduation from Texas Tech. I immediately liked her (helllooo, we almost have the same name!). K'lyssa is not only a well-educated educator, she is incredibly passionate about her field and is the kind of teacher I hope Knox is fortunate to have one day. Here are some of my favorites from our session.
I seem to have an obsession with the color orange lately...(NOT burnt orange, however, I am in the wrong town for that!)
K'lyssa is a self-proclaimed nerd (as am I) so she brought one of her obsessions- the Harry Potter books!

1 CommentTrevor recently graduated from my alma mater WBU, and needed some images to commemorate it. We had a great time- and I didn't realize we had so much in common! Not only did he graduate from Wayland, but he cheered there as well (in fact, I shot some promo images for them back when he was on the squad). He loves Jesus, and goes to The Heights Fellowship as well. We talked a lot about his recent trip to Europe- I was teeming with jealousy the whole time- what an adventure!
Now THIS is some enthusiasm! Awesome!
