From the second I met Allison, we just clicked. I think we sat around talking for over an hour. She totally got me, my work, and the essence of why I do what I do. Bryan is the perfect compliment for her. He's so kind and sweet to her- I loved watching them enjoy their wedding day. These two were married at the Lubbock Garden and Arts Center's St. Paul's Historic Church. I've wanted to shoot a wedding there since moving here 6 years ago, and finally I got to! It was a gorgeous April day- a bit windy at first- but the wind subsided just in time for the ceremony.
Bryan + Allison's Vendors:
Wedding Gown: David's Bridal
Groom's Suit: Alfani
Florist: Shallowater Florist
Cake: K's Creations
Ceremony: St. Paul's Chapel (at the Lubbock Garden and Arts Center)
Reception: 50 Yard Line
Hair + Makeup: Jaquelyn Swofford
We began shooting at the Overton Hotel. I'd heard it was well designed, and it didn't disappoint!
Oh, how I love a birdcage veil...and a beautiful bride!
Allison noted the blooming bushes outside of the chapel as her favorite detail. They were the perfect touch.
She knew just where she wanted to meet Bryan for their first look.
Because they chose to do a first look, we had plenty of time for portraits and then some extra time for Bryan and Allison to just sit and talk. Bryan said it was his favorite part of the day.
The reception was a delicious dinner at the 50 Yard Line for all of the guests. Check out the hands on the cake toppers. :)
Allison said her favorite moment was sitting at the tab;e at the reception looking out at all her friends and family. They were surrounded by wonderful people- the speeches were great!
After cutting the cake, they served it to everyone. Did I mention these guys are top-notch?
