Tyler and Beth Anne's wedding was just a few weeks ago in Midland, Texas. Besides the beautiful details and gorgeous light, the thing I will remember most from their big day is the genuine love and respect I witnessed- between Tyler and Beth Anne- between them and their families- and even the wedding party and guests. There seemed to be a general contentment and excitement for what was happening- like everyone knew that this was God's perfect plan. And clearly, it was.
I hope you enjoy these photos- I'll be mixing in a few comments from Beth Anne and Tyler in reflection of their big day.
Wedding Gown: Augusta Jones , Unbridaled in Austin
Bridesmaids Dresses: Siri
Floral: Amanda Mauldin, Stanton Weddings
Cake: Leslie Rabenaldt of Midland
Ceremony: St. Luke's United Methodist Church
Reception: Green Tree Country Club
Wedding Stationery: Anna Griffin, Noteables in Midland
Garters were made by Beth Anne's sister, Kristen
Beth Anne's favorite detail of the day was the flowers. (I have to agree- they were beautiful!) Knowing that she loved flowers so much, Beth Anne's mother ordered a special arrangement just for the room where the ladies were getting ready. So thoughtful and sweet!
I will never forget the sound of Beth Anne's dress rustling across the floor of the sanctuary just before I turned around to see my bride in her wedding dress for the first time.
Tyler, Groom
I loved coming down the aisle with my dad. I felt on the edge of tears watching each of my bridesmaids leave, until it was just my sweet dad and me. The anticipation was almost unbearable hearing the organ start the Trumpet Voluntary and waiting for the doors to open back up. But, as we walked down the aisle, I felt really calm... I remember seeing a sanctuary full of people, but Tyler at the front was the only one I really saw. Making my way to my soon-to-be husband was a moment I will never forget.
Beth Anne, Bride
Beth Anne's grandparents led a traditional Grand March that ended in their first dance to kick off the reception. Everyone loved it!
The most fun moment of the day was when our family and friends did a choreographed surprise dance for Tyler and me at the reception. I had no idea what my sister was doing when she sat us down by the dance floor. I laughed and cried watching each of them. From now on, I will watch the video of it when I am having a bad day because it makes me so happy.
Beth Anne, Bride
When I asked if Beth Anne had any advice for future brides + grooms, here is what she had to say:
I think lots of people say this... but to really focus on enjoying each moment. My sister took my cell phone all day Saturday. I felt so blessed to have all of my friends and family in one place, and I wanted to make sure I took it all in!
Congrats, you two! I hope Italy was wonderful!
