I always have so much fun when I get to photograph these cousins. They withstood the cold December weather for me, and made some beautiful pictures! Props to their Moms for helping out, too. :)

2 CommentsMark is Rachel's twin brother (and NO, they are not identical, haha). He set out with me on what has to be the windiest day in history. We literally had to find shelter at one point from the blowing 40 mph dirt. It was disgusting, and a nightmare for anybody with allergies- so I have much respect for this guy, because you'd never know by the images! Mark is a very cool and laid-back guy. I so appreciated that while I was doing my best to find locations where we wouldn't get blown away! All in all, I loved many images from his session- here are a few:
introducing...the fancy booth! • kuhrt + lindsey's wedding
6 CommentsThe Fancy Booth has been a bit of a secret over the past few months as we've perfected it, and so far it has been a big hit!
Our version of a photobooth, The Fancy Booth is the perfect addition to any wedding reception or event. The Fancy Booth features vintage-styled props and accessories for you and your guests to get fancy with, and the attention of a photographer to capture every spontaneous moment.
The Digital Negatives are provided to the bride and groom or event host, and the images will also be tagged on Facebook.
If you are interested in booking The Fancy Booth, shoot me an email at lissa.anglin@me.com!
Here are some of my favorites from Kuhrt + Lindsey's wedding!
Wow, these people are good looking...

3 CommentsOh, pretty Lana! Shanna and I went down to Houston just a few weeks before Lana's wedding to shoot her bridal session. Let me tell you, it was HOT- but Lana looked so gorgeous, and we had such a great time getting to all hang out again. I just love the images from her session. Lana is definitely beautiful inside and out- those who know her will agree!

4 CommentsI've been talking to Mario about his senior shoot for what seems like forever! He is (or was) a student in our youth group at church and will also occasionally make cool videos for Shawn's band- so he's become a familiar face. We finally went out to shoot his pictures last week and had a lot of fun exploring some new places.

4 CommentsThese will be images I don't forget for a long time. I LOVED getting to to a Day After Session with Tyler and Hillary. (For those of you who may wonder what a "Day After" Session is- it's when we meet up with the brand-newlyweds the day after their wedding to capture an extended session of portraits in their wedding day attire. Since the main festivities are over, we get to go a little more extreme without the fear of getting the dress dirty.)
This session was special because we met up with Tyler and Hillary and shot in downtown Kansas City. The cityscape was wonderful, and we found so many textures and color within a few city blocks. Thank you- Tyler and Hillary- for hanging out with us just a bit longer- I hope these images are ones you'll treasure forever!
travis, mandy, and lois • lubbock, tx
2 CommentsI met Travis and Mandy when they first moved to Lubbock (which was when we first moved to Lubbock). They just been married recently (as had we) and it was fun to meet some other newlyweds. They're making a big move to Houston, and wanted to commemorate their time at Texas Tech with a photoshoot while Mandy's Mom, Lois, was in from Virginia. So we made it happen! I'm sad to see them go, but I'm glad they are getting to embark on a new adventure together. Best of luck, guys!

1 CommentI loved meeting Julie and her parents. They are celebrating a big accomplishment- Julie is graduating with her doctorate this month! She's worked so hard to get to this point, and I loved that she chose to do a photoshoot to commemorate it. We shot a few images with her parents, and then strolled around the Tech campus to capture her last days as a student here. Thanks for a great shoot Julie!
LOVE her shoes!

4 CommentsI knew from the get-go that this would be a fun session. Leslie's up-for-anything personality and constant laughter are the perfect ingredients to making the pictures I love to make! This girl is not only an educated event designer, she is also pretty adventurous! She'll be living in New Zealand pretty soon- which makes me totally jealous. Thanks so much for a great session, Leslie- and congrats on your graduation!
I couldn't resist the primary-color combo when we came across this construction work site. Fortunately or unfortunately, Leslie's "animal magnetism" was at work as well. It made for some hilarious moments.

3 CommentsKathryn came in from Post last week to have me shoot her senior pictures. It was such a smooth photoshoot! This girl is super relaxed and fun to talk to. She has a big interest in music, so of course we had a lot to talk about. She'll be heading to Evangel University in the fall, and I wish her the best!
