Have I mentioned that I LOVE seniors? Especially ones that are enthusiastic, fun, and up for anything- which describes Brytin pretty well! This girl is pretty much involved in EVERYTHING at her school, and I have a feeling she is pretty darn good at it all as well. :) Brityn was smart to get her portraits done in the fall when it is still warm and green outside, and you still have a summer tan! We had a great session- here are some of my favorites:

I'm not going to lie, this next image was a total accident. I was getting adjusted and my finger just happened to hit the shutter. Happy accident!

Thanks, Brityn, for being so patient while I sorted through my computer issues. Hope they were worth the wait!

P.S. 2011 Seniors- be sure to enter my "Shoot Me For Free Contest"! I'm giving away a FREE photoshoot along with a Canon Powershot digital camera- plus iTunes giftcards!

I have been loving the beautiful spring weather lately, and this week I've been so excited to take advantage of it with photoshoots. We had the perfect day to shoot Morgan's senior pictures. She is graduating early from Plainview Christian Academy, and then heading to Dallas Baptist University. I loved shooting with her- here are some of my faves:

I think she looks waaaaaaay older than 17 here! Haha!

I think I was excited the entire week before Taylor's session. We had talked about TOMS, vintage cameras, and an old, broken-down building. Plus, I knew Taylor was going to be a great subject!

It was incredibly windy the day of her session (suprise!), but we rolled with it. It actually made for some seriously good supermodel hair.

Taylor took me out to this crazy old apartment building where they must have been challenged to use as many paint colors as possible. Tons of texture, light, and color- I was in Heaven!

I'm sure there is some photographer-induced camera tilt to the image on the right, but don't be fooled- the building was actually leaning!

One of her many talents is photography. You have got to check out her Flickr photostream. Super creative- I love it!

Many thanks to Shanna for making my lighting 2x better, and playing stylist at the same time!

How does everyone like my new *BIG* pictures? I feel like I can breathe easier now.

Hayes has broken my record for the miles per hour endured during an on-location photoshoot. My previous record of 33mph has now been replaced with the new high- 41mph. You think I'm kidding. The sky was literally brown that day.

Besides being OK with the wind, Hayes put up with all my cheesy jokes, and let me create some pretty cool images. I had a great time! Here are some of my favorites-

You may have missed my post on how I'M GIVING AWAY A FREE PHOTOSHOOT TO A 2010 SENIOR, which also included my sister's awesome *cough, cough* rapping skillz.

It's time to announce a winner! And that winner is...Abigail Dykes!

Abigail included a video with her entry, so it was pretty hard to say no! Here is her vid:

Thanks so much to all of the Seniors that entered. I'm already working on a new giveaway that will be announced very soon!

Leslie is another senior from Borger! She said she was nervous about her session, but she had no reason to be- we had a really great time wandering up and down 6th Street in Amarillo, and she totally rocked it!

I had several favorites from her session, so get ready!

Have I ever been able to resist a yellow school bus?

Yet another brightly colored vehicle! We could not confirm that there WASN'T someone in there at the time...so we kept our distance. :)

My favorite favorites!

Thanks Leslie, you are gorgeous inside and out!

Jerad is a senior at Borger High School, where I grew up. He did such a great job during his photoshoot- we did a lot of exploring and found some pretty cool spots. I did his sister's senior pictures a couple of years ago, and it's crazy how fast life has flown by since then!

Jerad is going to pursue something I didn't even know existed- underwater welding. All in all, it sounds like a pretty cool job (although a dangerous one). I have a feeling he can handle it, though. :) Thanks so much Jerad!

This cowboy hat was his Dad's.
